Arbor Day at Glazebrook Park
Have you hugged a tree lately? Join Godfrey, Illinois, in celebrating the environment and all things trees at Robert E. Glazebrook Community Park. The day kicks off at 9 am with a FREE Catch and Release Youth Fishing Derby and continues through 3 pm with face painting, crafts, youth games, and more! Free redbud tree seedlings will be given away to the first 150 visitors.
A Memorial Tree Dedication Ceremony will take place at 1:30 pm to recognize the individuals for whom trees were planted.
